In Wyatt's "Whoso List to Hunt", Wyatt described women as a goal or a prey that every men will want to hunt to get to their goal. But like every prey in the world, they would ran away from the predators or the men. In the poem, he also said that he is falling behind because he cannot own another person's property or get the hind at all. Wyatt says this as if women are like property, and once they become property of some guy with high power, everyone else will be out of the game and fall behind like Wyatt in the poem.

I agree with Clifford. By illustrating a woman as a deer, Wyatt emphasized how hard it is to chase the woman he loves. I would also like to add that Wyatt describes women as an unobtainable goal. He states that the woman he loves is already taken, thus he should give up on her.

I agree also. "Yet I find it difficult to take my mind off the deer, and as she continues to run I follow." (Wyatt) also demonstrates that it is difficult for him to be indifferent towards women.

I agree. But to add on, by including the description of the deer already taken by a man with strong power and wealth, Wyatt further suggests that women can be taken by a strong man regardless of their consensus and once they are taken, they dont have the freedom to get away from their owners.

In “Whoso List to Hunt”, Wyatt celebrates women’s beauty, and describes women as something unattainable. He chases a women whom he should not, even though he knows that the woman belongs to the King. All in all, Wyatt describes women and women’s bodies as something unreachable.

The way Wyatt describes the women's body is like fantasizing how "unreachable" they are. He compares their bodies (features) to angles, snowballs, and many more. But this makes me question whether he is showing courtly love or not since describing a women's body like this makes him seem like a pervert.

In the poem, the woman who is chased by the narrator is described as a deer. A deer is usually known for its sensibility and agility. By describing the woman as a deer, Wyatt implies that women are hard to get and run away easily.
