Reflect on the boasts delivered by your classmates: What did your classmates do well?
How did one of your classmates effectively capture the genre of the Anglo-Saxon boast?
Or how did one of your classmates effectively adapt the Anglo-Saxon boast to our modern context?

I found that my classmates had done very well keeping good posture. Many times I found myself reacting to certain hand gestures and anticipating postures, as well as reading body language.

I think that you actually did a great job expressing your ideas with a long analogy. You compared homework as a monster which is very interesting. You effectively adapted the Anglo-Saxon boast to our modern context smoothly. Good job! :)

I agree. Your kenning and metaphors subtly replaced what could not be easily said in school!

One of my classmate effectively captured the genre of the Anglo-Saxon boast by maintaining a fixed posture, by making consistent eye contact, and by using effective gestures related to their boasts, such as throwing the student handbook on the floor.

I think Ian did a great job in delivering his speech. I liked his tone and he made good eye contact. He showed confidence while delivering his speech too. In addition, his gestures and rhymes impressed me a lot. Therefore, I think Ian effectively captured the genre of Anglo-Saxon boast. Good job Ian!

I agree with Yujin. He delivered his speech with stable, confident tone and big gestures. This amplified the boastfulness of his speech and made a strong impression to the audience.
