In one well-organized paragraph, analyze the connotative similarities and differences between your assigned word as it was used in Shakespeare's time and in Macbeth and your assigned word as it is used today. DUE: Include in your notebook, due before 8 a.m. tomorrow. Read Act III of Macbeth before class on Tuesday, October 29. If you wish, you can follow along with a scripted reading of the act here.
Read the attached excerpt from Holinshed's Chronicles. This history served as Shakespeare's primary source for the material in Macbeth. In particular, note similarities and differences between Shakespeare's portralal of the "three weird sisters" and their appearance in Holinshed's Chronicles.
